Assessment system NSTC recognized by MTC

The assessment system of NSTC has been fully recognized by the Maritime Training Council. As of today trainees who enrol in:
- Basic Safety Training
- Advanced Fire Fighting
- Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boat
- Medical Emergency First Aid
and pass the NSTC assessment standards do not have to undergo additional assessment at the National Assessment Centre (NAC). This will reduce the burden for the trainees as no additonal appointments at the NAC is required. This will safe time and money.
At the same time NSTC can now offer assessment to persons who have completed one of the above listed training courses in an other training centre which is not accredited to carry out assessments.
